Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
I’m Jennifer Frahm. I’m a native Utahn with friends around the globe. Let me introduce myself.
After completing my undergraduate and master's programs at Yale University, I earned a Certificate in Conflict Resolution from the University of Utah. I’m a Master Mediator as qualified by the Utah State Courts and have current credentials to mediate all case types.
I have deep experience working with represented and unrepresented clients in divorce, guardianship, and parentage matters, as well as contract, business, and nonprofit disputes. I have spent hundreds of hours mediating cases involving protective orders, significant trauma, parent-child contact problems, mental health challenges, faith transitions, organizational restructures, and neurodiverse participants. I’ve previously worked in higher education, research, and nonprofits.
I’m passionate about education: I currently teach “Conflict and Mediation” at the University of Utah to aspiring young negotiators and am also an active, court-qualified Domestic Mentor. I volunteer with Mountain Mediation Center and write grants for Utah Dispute Resolution. I am on the board of the Utah Chapter of the AFCC, where professionals teach and learn best practices for helping families safely and peacefully resolve complex challenges.
I’ve lived in Seattle, Connecticut, Sweden, Romania, Spain, Russia, and Moldova. Life has taught me a deep respect for individual differences; I believe strongly in self-determination. I currently live in Salt Lake City with my husband and two sons. I love dark chocolate, trying new foods, playing the piano, backpacking, and gardening.
